Faith Is a Particular Type of Imagination Exercise (Not a Religious Story)

You have to have faith when the result lies in the future

Most of us never start doing what we love to do because the results are in the distant future. Why try to do something that takes years when we can work and get a fixed amount every month or week?

What would you do differently if you had faith?

Having faith is not like having a thing. It simply means that you are willing to insist on a particular outcome of uncertain events.

Faith means you are willing to insist on a particular outcome.

People don’t try faith unless it is the last thing they can do. Or when they think they have no option, they give faith a try. That’s what has made religions popular since ancient times.

If you are not getting results — because you are not trying hard enough — use the idea of faith: insist on a particular outcome of whatever you are doing.

The worst thing about religious zealots is that they can distort whatever is thrown at them and insist that they are right and their faith is true. Use this type of thinking as a strategy to force the outcome you want.
